Apple released macOS Golden Gate 27, the latest macOS operating system. The update introduces Siri AI, a smarter chatbot version of Siri, and brings Visual Intelligence to the Mac for the first time. It also tweaks the Liquid Glass design update from last year.

The update requires a Mac with an Apple silicon chip and is not available on Intel Macs. Users can download it through System Settings. The update includes new features like a more personal Siri AI and Visual Intelligence that can answer questions onscreen.

The update also includes new tools for browsing in Safari, such as automatically grouping tabs and notifying users of price drops. Additionally, it includes child safety features like powerful parental controls and communication safety protections. The update is available now.
